You are invited to apply for the University of Idaho College of Engineering's EXPO Engineering the Future VIP Experience—a journey designed for the bold and curious. You’re invited to apply for University of Idaho College of Engineering's EXPO Engineering the Future VIP Experience — a journey designed for the bold and curious.

This all-expenses-paid visit to our Moscow campus places you at the heart of our renowned Engineering Design EXPO. You will connect with current students, explore real-world projects and engage directly with professional engineers who are shaping tomorrow. This could be your first step into a future powered by innovation, guided by mentorship and rooted in Vandal spirit.

Applications open January 2026

  • Engage in mentorship activities alongside current Vandal engineering and computer science student ambassadors and learn about life as a student at University of Idaho
  • Network with professional engineers, faculty and other students
  • Explore projects that push the boundaries of science and technology during our nationally recognized Engineering Design EXPO

Eligibility

  • Ninth through 12th grade
  • Interest in STEM
  • Preference given to students living in Idaho

Program information and logistics

All-expenses-paid amenities and reimbursement process

  • One hotel room, one night paid by U of I College of Engineering
  • All meals covered by U of I College of Engineering
  • Gas/travel reimbursement through U of I College of Engineering

Reimbursement details will be communicated to selected participants.

Deadlines and important dates

  • Applications close March 1
  • Selection decisions will be made by March 8
  • VIP Participant confirmation needed by March 15
