Psychological assessment resources
The CMHC recognizes that testing waitlists and other factors can make it hard for students to get timely assessments. To help, we’ve provided information about local, regional and statewide providers who offer assessment services. This is not a comprehensive list of providers in these regions.
Many providers accept insurance or offer self-pay options. To check coverage:
- Call the number on the back of your insurance card or log in to your insurance website for a list of in-network providers.
- You can also call a provider directly to confirm if they take your insurance and ask about costs.
For help exploring options in other states or understanding how insurance works for assessments, contact CMHC at cmhc@uidaho.edu or 208-885-6716. We’ll be glad to connect you with someone who can guide you through the process.
