Experiential Learning is the process of learning by doing. By engaging students in hands-on experiences and reflection, they are better able to connect theories and knowledge learned in the classroom to real-world situations.
All majors at U of I have a required or optional internship/experiential learning experience. Our students are wildly successful from their combination of classroom knowledge and real-world experiences that prepare them to leave as a professional, not just a graduate.
