Liz Bryant
As a long-time resident of North Idaho, Liz is passionate about the healthcare needs of the state, particularly its rural and underserved communities. Before joining the WWAMI team in July 2019, Liz served as the Pre-Health Professions Program Coordinator at the University of Idaho, supporting undergraduate students from a wide range of academic majors; she is honored to have received both regional and national recognition for her commitment to student service. Prior to that, Liz served more than 10 years as Administrator of an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID). This experience instilled a strong appreciation for the value of inter-professional collaboration, which she believes starts with a foundation of inter-professional education. Additionally, Liz has been a volunteer with the Latah County Board of Community Guardians since 2007, serving as Chair of the Board since 2013. These combined experiences have highlighted some of the many areas of need that residents of North Idaho face, including access to preventive care and mental health services.

Prior to that, she taught Middle School and High School French and Spanish, taught K-12 as a Substitute Teacher, and taught Spanish at Washington State University. She is happy to now use her wealth of experience in education to coordinate North Idaho AHEC's Scholars and Pipeline programming.
