Chelsea Pennick (McIver), Ph.D.
Associate Director of Policy Analysis Group and Research Assistant Professor of Natural Resources Policy and Administration
Chelsea is the associate director of the Policy Analysis Group and an Assistant Research Professor with the College of Natural Resources. Her research interests lie at the nexus of public lands, forest communities and rural economies.
Chelsea has led studies on policy options for reforming payments to counties for federal public lands, the impact of collaboration on pace and scale of management on Idaho’s national forests and has contributed to studies on state funding for wildfire suppression. Chelsea also teaches Forest Policy and Administration.
