Recruitment and student engagement support
Our team of recruitment specialists will help you choose the right program, guide you through the course registration process and connect you with university resources to ensure you make the most of your time in CNR and at University of Idaho.
Undergraduate advising
You’ll partner with your advisor to tailor your four-year plan to your interests and career goals. Each year, you and your counselor will meet to discuss or adjust your academic roadmap before enrolling for classes.
CNR’s undergraduate advisors can also help you with special application scholarships or industry-specific internships to help you reach your goals.
Graduate student support
Graduate degrees in Natural Resources and Environmental Science allow you to dial in on your area of interest, tapping into the expertise of more than 100 professors. Enhance your knowledge and skills alongside renowned researchers and thought leaders working across the nation and globe.
Academic standing
In addition to helping you enroll in courses each semester, advisors in the College of Natural Resources also guide students through University of Idaho’s academic probation processes as necessary.
Students in need of assistance with academic probation procedures are encouraged to make an appointment with their advisor or visit the Student Services Center during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
CNR scholarships
The College of Natural Resources has over 90 scholarships available to students based on their academic merit or financial need. Current and newly admitted students have the opportunity to explore scholarships with University of Idaho’s Scholarship Universe platform.
