Kacy Pula is an assistant professor. Her research interests include social psychology/conservation psychology, attitudes and behaviors regarding organic and local food consumption and scholarship of teaching and learning in psychology.

Kacy Pula completed her doctorate in experimental psychology at Washington State University with specializations in social psychology and quantitative methods. She then spent two years as an assistant professor at St. Michael’s College in Vermont before arriving at the University of Idaho, where she teaches introduction to psychology, social psychology and research methods. She is also the faculty coordinator for the psychology peer-advising program. Her research interests center on the intertwining among social psychology, individual differences and environment. She is also interested in the applications of empirical psychological research to promote effective teaching and learning in higher education.
