Professional Engineering Review Course
University of Idaho Boise offers a Professional Engineering (PE) Review Course, Civil Engineering track. The course, delivered by subject experts, prepares you for the PE Exam.
If you are an engineer planning to take Idaho's PE Exam or simply want to update your skills and knowledge in the field of Civil Engineering, this course is for you.
2024 Course Dates
The course will have 12 three-hour sessions on Thursdays from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., running from January 18, (first session) 2024 through April 11 (last session, which is a 2-hr PE mock exam), 2024. There will be no meeting during the Boise school district's spring break (Thursday, March 21).
Location
Classes will be held at the University of Idaho Water Center, 322 E. Front St, Boise, ID 83702 and will be livestreamed for those students who wish to attend online via Zoom.

Free Retake Policy: If you complete the PE Review Course and do not pass the PE Exam, you may retake the course again the following year at no additional charge.
Review Course Instructors
Subject experts have been selected from local industry, universities and government. Organizations include U of I Boise College of Engineering, Boise State University College of Engineering, The State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors, and Mountain Home AFB.
Textbooks
Instructor teaching materials will be given to you digitally on a weekly basis. It suggested to download the NCEES reference handbooks from NCEES PE Civil exam information by registering and logging into MyNCEES.
