U of I Boise Specialists & Certificates

The Curriculum & Instruction, Ed. Specialist program prepares educators for positions in education administration. The degree places graduates on the forefront of theory, policy and practice needed to guide and lead today's schools. These degrees are designed for K-12 teachers and administrators who desire to transform schools into high-performing, inclusive and continuous learning communities.

The Educational Leadership, Ed. Specialist program prepares you to be at the forefront of theory and research in the field, with the skills and insight to influence policy and to improve educational institutions at the local, regional, state and national levels.

This 15-credit certificate Fire Ecology, Management & Technology program is designed for traditional and non-traditional students who would like to receive more depth than a few courses in the concepts, science and tools currently used in fire ecology and management, or for those seeking educational requirements required for federal employment.

Designed for working professionals, the five-course graduate Human Resource Development certificate can also be applied to a masters or doctorate degree in Adult Organizational Learning and Leadership. And you can do it all online, if you choose.

The Restoration Ecology Certificate is for graduate students and provides background and depth in the concepts and tools currently used in restoration ecology. The program consists of five courses (12 credits), which are available online.

This course is one of five courses that apply to the Technical Workforce Training Academic Certificate. If you are interested, contact John Cannon, 208-364-4031 or johnc@uidaho.edu.
