At University of Idaho, we’re thinking big — because bold ideas move Idaho forward. From pioneering public-private partnerships to launching a 10-year sustainable solutions plan and an ambitious strategic roadmap, we’re investing in people, innovation and statewide impact.

This is what it means to serve Idaho: To think big, act boldly and create opportunities that last generations.

    Committed to sustainable solutions

We’re advancing toward carbon neutrality by 2030, integrating sustainable solutions credentials into every major and using our campus as a “living laboratory” for practical sustainable solutions. Guided by a 10-year sustainable solutions plan, we are consciously infusing eco-conscious practices into everything we do.

Built with input from students, employees, industry and state leaders, U of I's strategic plan unites university-wide efforts with state needs that will have a measurable impact on Idaho.
