I am from Pocatello, Idaho.
Why did you choose UI?
The University offered me an athletic scholarship, and I couldn't turn down the opportunity to continue playing volleyball after high school. I also liked the tight knit feel of the community and the beauty of campus.

What are your plans for after graduation?
I'm currently in the process of applying for medical school and hope to get accepted into the University of Washington School of Medicine. I will also spend the next four months as an intern in the emergency department at a local hospital.
What should incoming first-year students know?
Keep your mind open and take a variety of classes. You might be exposed to something that you had no idea about and fall in love with it—just like I did!
What advice do you have for other students in your major?
With some hard work and persistence, anything can be accomplished! Set your goals high and you can reach them.
