Letter from the VP Information Technology and Chief Information Officer

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is a service organization-focused and committed to providing students, faculty and staff technical services and the highest level of support they need to be successful.

We are a collaborative partner and always are striving to better understand the needs of our customers, to develop institutional solutions to common problems, to improve institutional technology security in the face of increased risks, and to openly communicate challenges and opportunities more effectively, internally and externally.

Since OIT is a customer-focused service organization, each and every OIT employee has an opportunity and a responsibility to: create positive and life-changing experiences for U of I students; provide employees and students technical solutions and superior support to be productive; and help the university reach and exceed its strategic goals.

I and my team look forward to serving our U of I community.
