Coeur-lloquium: Understanding the World by Examining the World with Karen Humes

Location: Coeur d'Alene Harbor Center Room 241

Karen Humes, department of geography department head, College of Science will present Coeur-lloquium: Understanding the World by Examining the World May 2 at noon in the Coeur d'Alene Harbor Center Room 241.

Humes’ research areas include: Remote sensing applications in understanding water distribution and use, modeling of spatially distributed water - energy balances, and soil moisture measurement and mapping. She will be talking about her current projects as well as the many interesting ongoing projects in the Northwest and around the world involving U-Idaho Geographers.

Bring your lunch if you wish. Light refreshments (coffee, cookies, lemonade) will be provided.
