Clery Act Notifications

The University of Idaho is required to:

  • Develop, implement, and disclose campus security, fire, missing persons and evacuation policies and procedures.
  • Alert the campus community through timely warnings and emergency notifications of a serious or continuing threat to safety.
  • Develop and maintain a daily crime and fire log.
  • Develop and distribute an annual security and fire safety report that discloses policies and procedures and three years of crime and fire statistics.
  • Report crime statistics to the US Department of Education annually.

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is submitted to the Department of Education every year by October 1. In compliance with relevant provisions of federal law, the University of Idaho is required to make policy and programmatic information available to the campus community, as well as to prospective students and employees.
