New Employee Orientation
New Employee Orientation Registration and information is available on the Professional Development & Learning website. New employees can be registered for these sessions by their managers or the employees can register themselves. Participation in New Employee Orientation and New Employee Welcome helps each employee become informed about key University of Idaho topics and transition more quickly.
The New Employee Orientation is now available online.
Take the temporary Vandal Card that you received from Human Resources to the Vandal Card Office in Room 124 of the Bruce M. Pitman Center (709 Deakin Street). You must have an official ID such as a drivers license/permit, state ID or passport, for identification purposes. Employees can obtain cards on or after their first day of work.
Employees of the University of Idaho who drive a vehicle to campus must purchase and display a valid parking permit. Parking and Transportation Services offers annual permits for those who will drive daily, and flexible permits for those who will only drive occasionally. View permit rates, parking maps, and purchase a permit by visiting Parking and Transportation Services.
University of Idaho employees will be assigned Net IDs by Information Technology Services (ITS). Your Net ID is what you will use to access computers, VandalWeb, Banner, email and a variety of other University of Idaho accounts.
