    What is IPM?

IPM is an approach to pest management that allows managers to make informed decisions in selecting from a wide variety of pest control techniques and tools. Knowledge concerning pest life cycles and their interaction with their host and environment is used to determine which management tactics will be most effective while also being both economically and environmentally conscious.

    Our people

If you have questions about Integrated Pest Management please contact an UI Extension educator near you either by specialty or by district below. If you're not sure who to direct a question to, find an Extension educator in your county to answer your question or direct you to someone who can. The Extension Implementation Program is a statewide effort, run by a team of faculty and staff in collaboration with stakeholders, led by Erik Wenninger, professor and Extension specialist. This program aims to provide Idahoans with the tools and information necessary to implement integrated pest management programs in systems ranging from large-scale agricultural production to homes and gardens.
