Parent and supporter orientation
We recognize the vital role families play in student success. Your parent and supporter orientation runs at the same time as student sessions, offering insights into university resources, support services and ways to stay connected throughout your student's academic journey.
The start of a student’s journey at University of Idaho is not only a transition for those family members that have and will continue to support them during their college career. Family and Supporter Orientation will provide you the resources and information needed to be avid advocates for your student’s success.
Parent and supporter programming will be Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026. The Send Off will be 3:15-4 p.m. Check back for more schedule details.
