Welcome to the University of Idaho! Your first step to success starts with New Student Orientation.

You are starting an exciting journey of achieving your academic and personal goals. Along the way, you will define a career path and meet lifelong friends who will be making the journey with you. Our opening weekend activities are designed to prepare you for semester classes and help you to make the University of Idaho your home. All Orientation events have been crafted to deliver important information and experiences to aid in your transition to college.

Fall 2018 Orientation will be August 16-19

It is an expectation of the University that all new students, including those participating in Greek Recruitment, sign up for and take part in New Student Orientation.

NOTE: All new, full-time UI undergraduates on the Moscow campus are automatically charged the $100 New Student Orientation fee, apart from tuition and fees. This fee is non-refundable regardless of New Student Orientation event attendance.
