Why are teachers choosing self-paced, online courses for their professional development needs?

Self-paced professional development courses allow you to complete coursework on your own schedule, making it easier to balance learning with your teaching responsibilities. Instead of attending live classes, you can access course materials anytime and progress at a pace that works for you.

Make sure to take advantage of our Elevate Teacher Professional Development Course time tracking log. The time log is designed to help you monitor your progress, track your engagement with course materials, and reflect on how you are allocating your learning time throughout the course. You can keep this log for your own records or can share it with your district or organization to display that you successfully met the required level of learning. This time log can be found in the syllabus section of your course. View a sample Elevate Teacher Professional Development Course Time Tracking Log.

These courses are designed to help K–12 educators build new skills, stay current in their field and earn professional development or continuing education credits — all in a flexible, online format.
