About the Department of Curriculum and Instruction

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Idaho leads and delivers exceptional hands-on experience for students seeking their undergraduate, graduate or certification in education.

Undergraduate degree programs include career and technical education - with an emphasis in engineering and technology, business and marketing or occupational education — elementary education and secondary education. The graduate degree programs include career and technical education, special education and curriculum and instruction.

Our Curriculum and Instruction faculty members are active leaders in educational research, and are committed to providing students with educational programs that are based on the latest findings. Undergraduate and graduate classes are delivered on Moscow campus, U of I centers in Coeur d'Alene and Boise, as well as an extensive web-based instruction that serves students all over the world.
