Judicial Branch
The ASUI Supreme Court serves as the judicial branch of the undergraduate student government and has the ability to review all legislative acts of ASUI and intervene in disputes between the branches and make rulings based on established rules and regulations, bylaws and ASUI Constitution. Rulings can be overturned in the same fashion as can a presidential veto — by a super majority vote of the ASUI Senate.
The justices are appointed by the ASUI Senate and all University of Idaho students are eligible to sit in the volunteer positions. The Supreme Court meets, at minimum, monthly, but can meet more often as circumstances dictate.
