Education doctoral candidate Lorenzo Rene staffs the Dual Credit Program table during Vandal Science Day at the Integrated Research and Innovation Center (IRIC) on Friday, November 7, 2025. As the first graduate of University of Idaho’s Dual Credit Certificate in education, his goal is to teach college credit courses in high school while making sure his students have everything they need to thrive.

    Military and veteran support

    Scholarships are available to active-duty service members, veterans and military dependents. These awards are offered by both University of Idaho and outside organizations.

    Military Appreciation Scholarship

    U of I provides this scholarship to currently serving members of the United States Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserve, for classes covered by the military services’ Tuition Assistance (TA) Program.
