Assessment Resources
The CMHC has put together a resource packet that includes apps to help with attention issues. It also includes tips and tricks to help with studying, organization, planning, test taking and more. You will also find books, podcasts and websites that include helpful strategies in dealing with attention, procrastination or other learning difficulties in school. Email cmhc-assessment@uidaho.edu to request a copy of the resource packet be sent to you.
The CMHC understands that the testing waitlist and other factors make it difficult for students to wait to get an assessment. We have provided information here about other providers locally, regionally and statewide that you can contact about their assessment services*.
These providers take various insurances as well as the option to pay out-of-pocket. If you have health insurance, calling the number on the back of your health insurance card — or logging into their website — and asking for a list of providers that take your insurance for psychological services and testing is one way to find out about other providers. Alternatively, you can call a potential provider and ask them if they take your insurance, and they can talk with you about potential costs.
