Transfer advantage
Start here, stay here, succeed here
Looking to stay close to home while earning your bachelor’s degree? U of I Coeur d’Alene’s outreach campus is designed with transfer students in mind, offering a flexible and affordable pathway to your bachelor’s degree.
Through our partnership with North Idaho College (NIC), you can kick off your college journey by completing your general education courses at NIC — while also knocking out lower-division courses that are specific to your major. Then, you’ll transfer seamlessly into U of I’s in-person or online programs as a junior, finishing your bachelor’s degree right here in Coeur d’Alene. We’ve built clear, supportive pathways for NIC Cardinals, but U of I Coeur d’Alene welcomes transfer students from any accredited college or university.
Pro tip: Connect early and often with your advisors from both NIC and U of I Coeur d’Alene. They’ll help you stay on track to transfer smoothly, graduate on time and get the most out of your college experience — all in North Idaho.
