Adventure Day Camp
Spend the day outdoors learning and laughing in beautiful Ponderosa State Park. Throughout the summer, MOSS instructors work with kiddos to explore the outdoors, play games, make crafts, hike, swim, and have a fantastic time. Students will explore engineering with hands-on activities like raft building Topics will complement the nature play and summertime adventures that kiddos love to do, all while practicing social and emotional skills.
Our COVID-19 policies and practices focus on wearing our masks, washing our hands and maintaining 6ft physical distance as much as possible. All instruction will occur outdoors or in wall tents with the doors open for air flow. We will be following the local McCall-Donnelly School District procedures regarding screening and response to positive COVID-19 cases.
Please see the Healthy MOSSers Pledge and accompanying documentation for more specific information about your responsibilities in ensuring all of our students, and staff stay healthy this summer.
All students should be screened using the Health Screening Form each morning BEFORE getting dropped off at MOSS. If students develop signs or symptoms of any illness during their days as MOSS, a parent or guardian will be called to pick them up. If you are contacted by MOSS Staff that your student is showing signs or symptoms, they must be picked up within one hour. Students will isolate in the Rose Yurt with supervision until they are picked up.
If students and families are not willing or able to comply with these safety guidelines, they may not be allowed to participate in the program.
