Megan grew up in rural Idaho, where she spent her childhood catching frogs, paddling the Little Wood River with her sister, and amassing a collection of interesting rocks. Her love of outdoor exploration brought her to the University of Idaho's McCall Outdoor Science School first as a graduate student and now as the Food Systems and Sustainability Manager.
In addition to her formal studies, Megan has made and sold mozzarella cheese, sung in a monastery choir in France, and fried hundreds of arepas while volunteering in a kitchen in the mountains of Columbia. She is committed to bringing an interdisciplinary approach and a sense of adventure to the kitchen where she facilitates conversations about sustainable food sourcing, community partnerships and environmental stewardship while providing great food to the MOSS community.
