Tara is originally from western Washington and joined the faculty in CNR in 2014. Prior to joining the faculty she was a postdoc in the Department of Plant Biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is a terrestrial ecosystem ecologist with research interests in the interactive effects of climate change, disturbance and environmental policy on terrestrial carbon, nitrogen and water cycling at different temporal and spatial scales, particularly in PNW forests.
