CLASS Student Ambassadors
The College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) Ambassadors are a select group of students representing all departments within our college. Student Ambassadors play a vital role in assisting the college in recruitment and retention of highly qualified students. Our Ambassadors gain access to exclusive events and have an opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, build their professional network, and establish working relations with college and university faculty, students, staff and administrators across the University of Idaho.
This program provides students with an opportunity to make a difference in the CLASS community and mentor potential Vandals through the decision-making and application process. Our Ambassadors are excited about their majors and enthusiastic about sharing their U of I experiences with prospective students and their families.
Serving as a CLASS Ambassador is both an honor and a distinction. Student Ambassadors are chosen through a selection process that includes an application and an interview. Being an ambassador requires commitment and dedication. If accepted into the program, a minimum commitment of one academic year is expected. Ambassadors are trained in university processes and given opportunities to enhance their personal and professional development through a one-credit course.
