Child care is available for children of UI Boise students through Boise State Children’s Center. The Children’s Center has a priority for enrollment and considers applications first from BSU students, then BSU employees and finally community members. Applications for child care for employees and students of the UI Boise will be considered after BSU employees but before community members. UI Boise employees and students are personally responsible for all fees charged by The Children’s Center and will be charged the rate for community members (Rate C of the Children’s Center tiered fee scheduled).
BYP is a program of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce that focuses on connecting, empowering and engaging your professionals in the Boise Valley. UI students and faculty (21 and older) get free membership to join BYP. Visit the Boise Young Professionals website and look for student or corporate membership.
Vending machines are located at the Idaho Water Center on the first floor, along the center hallway just east of the restrooms.
Once a UI student reaches 90 credits or receives a degree, they become a member of the Alumni Association. Students working on a master’s, Ph.D., Ed.D or J.D. are also considered alumni. It’s a non-dues paying program and gives you access to all graduate resources the Office of Alumni relations offers. UI Boise Alumni Relations office is located at the IWC suite 240.
