Maria Ortega | Marketing and Communications Manager
Maria Ortega is in charge of key internal and external communication tools for the University of Idaho Boise providing marketing and communications leadership in a variety of areas, including web content, social media, media and public relations, special events, alumni relations and publications.
Ortega provides counsel to U of I Boise's executive director, departments and research units on marketing and communications approaches; writes and edits a variety of materials in electronic and print format, including unit magazines or newsletters, web content, recruitment materials, social media postings, brochures, fact sheets and posters, scripts and talking points, direct marketing and digital advertising, promotional articles and news releases. She also collaborates in special event planning, including but not limited to special topic conferences and workshops; and oversees the work of designers, photographers, videographers and freelance writers.

Donna Stolaroff | Executive Assistant
Donna Stolaroff serves as the executive assistant to the University of Idaho Boise’s Executive Officer which includes managing and coordinating daily business of the executive officer’s office within the university and with outside constituencies. Specific duties include oversight of financial transactions; financial decision making, including developing and managing budgets; coordinating and planning of key annual events; and participation in employee and student centered committees.
