Agricultural education
Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education
Prepare the next generation of agriculture leaders
If you’re passionate about agriculture and love the idea of working with students, this program will prepare you to teach grades 6–12 about today’s agriculture industry and technologies. You’ll build a strong foundation in agricultural science while learning how to plan lessons, manage a classroom and lead programs like FFA and 4-H.
You won’t just sit in a classroom — you’ll gain real-world experience by shadowing experienced teachers, working with local FFA chapters and getting hands-on practice at our campus animal centers, greenhouses and plant science farms.
Whether you see yourself in a high school classroom, a leadership role in ag education or working in extension, this program gives you the tools to make a lasting impact.
