You're invited to Idaho! The value of the Invitation to Idaho scholarship at U of I for the 2023-24 academic year is nearly $16,000. That’s nearly $64,000 in value over the course of four years!

The University of Idaho extends an Invitation to Idaho to qualifying students from all states and countries except for the following WICHE states:

Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, the territory of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

If you are not a resident of one of the states listed above, see the table to the right to see if you meet all of the other qualifications.

There’s no separate application or deadline for the Invitation to Idaho scholarship program. Simply complete your U of I admission application to be considered. It’s that easy! If you have already applied and been admitted to U of I, you have already been automatically considered for the Invitation to Idaho scholarship.
