Scholarship and fellowship opportunities
Investing in tomorrow’s scientists
The College of Science helps you take learning beyond the classroom. Use scholarships and fellowships to fund independent research, internships or education abroad. With funding designed for science majors, you can turn ideas into action and take your education to the next level.
Hill Undergraduate Research Fellowship
The Hill Undergraduate Research Fellowship supports undergraduate students conducting research in partnership with College of Science faculty. This fellowship is available thanks to the generosity of Brian '65 (chemistry) and Gayle Hill.
Each fellowship award includes two components: a $1,500 scholarship and a $1,500 research grant to fund your project.
Hill Fellowships are awarded each fall and spring semester. These fellowships are typically funded for three consecutive semesters. Accelerated timelines may be approved on a case-by-case basis.
To be eligible, you must be a full-time undergraduate student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Learn more about the Hill Fellowship by contacting the Director of Student Services, Amy Kingston: amykingston@uidaho.edu.
