University of Idaho’s Climbing Center makes it easy to gear up and get on the wall. We offer rental equipment for individuals and full-service options for groups to facilitate a fun and safe climbing experience.

The U of I Climbing Center is a “No Loose Chalk” facility. Please use chalk balls or liquid chalk only to help maintain air quality and protect our ventilation systems.

Free Rental Fridays

Held the last Friday of every month during the academic year, take advantage of free rentals all day long.

Reserve the Climbing Center

Hosting a birthday party, team-building event or group outing? Our 6,000-square-foot climbing space provides a dynamic and memorable experience for all ages and skill levels. Group reservations are perfect for birthdays, organizations or recreational events.

• Base rate: $120 for up to 10 participants (excluding parent belayers)
• Each additional participant: $12
