Registration Open for Summer Drama Camp for Kids

MOSCOW, Idaho — Registration is open for University of Idaho Theatre Arts Department summer drama camp. The camp for kids ages 7 to 12 is from noon to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, July 20-Aug. 6. Early bird registration before June 15 costs $350 per person. After June 15, registration is $375 per person. Online registration forms are available at https://www.uidaho.edu/UISummerDramaCamp.
Participants will learn about acting, movement, building sets, props, costumes and more while studying language arts with a focus on Shakespeare. The camp will conclude with a free public performance of “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” on Aug. 6 at Hartung Theater.
This is the sixth year that the Theatre Arts Department, a part of U of I’s College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences, has offered the summer camp. Previous productions have included “Macbeth,” “Julius Caesar,” and “Hamlet.”
