March 25, 2022
MOSCOW, Idaho — March 25, 2022 — The University of Idaho Department of Theatre Arts presents the new play “Just Bea,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 1-2, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at the Pocket Playhouse, Shoup Hall, 1028 West Sixth St., on the U of I campus. Written by Bethany Paulsen, a U of I Master of Fine Arts candidate from Norfolk, Virginia, “Just Bea” is a fast-paced, sweet and often hilarious exploration of relationships, love, loss and growing up. The play follows a young working professional, Juliet, who escapes to her family cabin to work through her relationship problems. Her sanctuary is quickly invaded by the presence of an unexpected guest.
“Just Bea” is directed by James Napoleon Stone, a U of I Master of Fine Arts candidate from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The show will run approximately 45 minutes with no intermission. Free parking is available on Sixth Street.
