Free Plant Diagnostic Clinic
Do you have sick trees? Is your lawn not looking as green as you’d like? Are you wondering what that bug is in your garden? Need help figuring out how to control the weeds in your yard? UI Extension, Canyon County offers a free plant diagnostic clinic for Canyon and Owyhee counties. They provide science based, non-biased information. Clinics are provided Monday and Wednesday, 1-4 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m. to noon. If you can’t make it to the UI Extension, Canyon County office (501 Main Street, Caldwell), you can email your question (if you can attach pictures it is very helpful) to ccmg@uidaho.edu.
Gardening Classes
Classes are being offered through Caldwell Parks and Recreation. All gardening classes are being held at the UI Extension, Canyon County office, 501 Main Street, Caldwell on Saturdays 10 a.m. to noon. Cost is $15 plus a $2 processing fee. If you have questions regarding registering, please contact Parks and Rec at 208-455-3060.
