UI Extension, Boundary County offers educational programs in agriculture, including cereal production, forage and pasture management, horticulture and programs targeted to small farms and beginning farmers, including:

• Crop variety tours, featuring yield and quality results for new varieties of wheat, barley and canola
• Pesticide applicator recertification classes
• Winter cereal and hay schools
• Small farm and beginning farmer programs
• Gardening and horticulture classes

Other services offered by our office include:

• Pest and disease identification
• One-on-one consultations for gardeners and farmers
• Soil testing sample bags and hay, water and soil testing equipment rentals
