Plan to arrive by 5 p.m. PT on Monday, June 15. Check in at the Best Western University Inn, located at 1516 Pullman Road, Moscow, Idaho, 83843 (208-882-0550). There will be a welcome reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner.

When will the course be completed?
The last scheduled event is a dinner cruise on beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene, Thursday, June 25. If you are flying out of Spokane, Washington, you might find it more convenient to stay overnight in Coeur d’Alene or Spokane. Note: Your room in Moscow at the University Inn is covered as part of the registration fee; rooms elsewhere are not included. Also, rooms at the Coeur d’Alene Resort are extremely limited in June.
Due to the size of our group, the University Inn cannot accommodate late checkout. If you are planning to stay in Coeur d’Alene or Spokane, you will need to check out by 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 25. If you plan to stay at the University Inn on Thursday night, the check-out time on Friday, June 26 is noon.
How do I fly to Moscow, Idaho?
You can fly to the Palouse. The Pullman-Moscow airport code is PUW, and this airport serves Pullman, Washington and Moscow, Idaho. The airport is conveniently located between the two cities, just four miles from Moscow. You can fly into the Spokane, Washington International Airport (airport code GEG) 90 miles to the north. If you fly into Spokane, please plan to rent a car and drive to Moscow. It’s an easy and pleasant drive (approximately 1.5 hours). You may be able to drop your rental car at the Pullman-Moscow Airport if you don’t want to keep it over the two weeks.
You can also fly into the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport (airport code is LWS) about 40 miles to the south of Moscow. If you fly into Lewiston, please plan to rent a car and drive to Moscow.
Do I need a rental car?
A car is not necessary. We have reserved the Vandal Trolley to shuttle you between the hotel and campus, but if you decide to rent a car and would prefer to drive to campus, please let us know so we can arrange for a campus parking permit. The University Inn will also have a van available to take you downtown and to the Pullman-Moscow Airport.
What’s the dress?
Dress throughout the course is casual for participants, faculty and staff. You are back on campus and will be spending a lot of time in class, so dress comfortably—jeans, shorts and t-shirts are all fine. The classroom temperature is controlled remotely, so please bring a sweater or sweatshirt if you get chilly!
Plan for business casual on the last day (June 25) in Coeur d’Alene when we join the Summit Cohort. Some participants will opt for casual wear on the dinner cruise.
Will there be any problems accommodating my dietary restrictions?
University of Idaho and University Inn catering staff do a wonderful job of creating delicious meals specially prepared for the Energy Executive Course. They are happy to accommodate any special dietary needs or requests. Just let us know.
