U of I cares about your health and well-being. Vandals in the Know is an opportunity for students to learn about the various health and wellness resources across campus and find out about the academic and non-academic resources available to support you during your academic journey. Let’s make the most out of your college experience! Join us and learn about the safe, comfortable and non-judgmental spaces where we can talk about the good times, the challenges and the unique experiences you’ll have at the University of Idaho.

Departing from the International Ballroom
Meet up with staff and faculty from your academic colleges to learn more about the resources available to you. Enjoy a short campus tour on the way back to the Pitman Center.
3:30 p.m. — Vandal Family Send-Off
Pitman Center International Ballroom
Enjoy this time to say goodbye and leave with a parting gift. Students, families and supporters will join for final send-off and a Vandal Family Photo.
4 p.m. — Hot Chocolate, Snacks and Tumbler Decorating with the Department of Student Involvement

Decorate a beverage tumbler and learn more about how you can get involved on campus and make the most of your Idaho experience! Chocolate and snacks will be provided.

12:30–2:30 p.m. — Time for Business
Use this time if you need to finalize any business (financial aid, student accounts, Vandal Card, etc.) before classes start.
1–5 p.m. — International Student Orientation

All international students are required to attend the mandatory immigration check-in and international student orientation sessions. Check-in starts at 1 p.m.
1:30–2:30 p.m. — Transfer and Non-Traditional Student Orientation

2:30–4:30 p.m. — Resource Tabling and Workshops

Get to know all the resources available to you during your time on campus. Several departments will be leading workshops to get you prepared for the semester. Workshops include mapping weekly schedules, drafting budgets and more!
7 p.m. — Movie Night!
Kenworthy Performing Arts Center, Downtown Moscow
Bring family and friends to enjoy a showing of Paddington 2. Popcorn and sodas are on us! The Vandal Trolley will pick up and drop off at the Kenworthy between 6:30-7 p.m. and offer return rides. Pick up and drop off locations are at the Pitman Center Veranda.
Friday, January 12
9–11 p.m. — Late Night at the Rec
Student Recreation Center
Join us at the Rec Center for Late Night at the Rec for a fun-filled evening with friends to kick back, enjoy recreating and learn about our programs. Activities include dodgeball, volleyball, basketball and climbing. This event is free and open to all University of Idaho students.
