Important Notice! Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, volunteer opportunities with the U of I Sustainability Center are currently suspended. We hope to offer volunteer opportunities in Fall 2020.
U of I Sustainability Center volunteer opportunities are a great way to get to know your community, meet other students, and complete your service learning and philanthropic requirements.
For more information regarding any of the volunteer programs, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Support clean composting at U of I by volunteering for an hour at the ISUB food court to assist students and visitors in sorting their leftovers into compost, recycling, and landfill containers. Volunteers will receive a free lunch token that can be used at Qdoba or Chick-fil-A!
Restore the roots of the endangered Palouse Prairie by planting native trees, shrubs and ground covers in our community.
Check out this video on the benefits of planting on the Palouse.
