Trap Shooting Club

The Trap Shooting Club participates in competitive and recreational shooting. Disciplines include 16-yard, handicap and doubles trap.
The group participates at local gun clubs — Troy Deary Gun Club and Colton Gun Club — as part of the Camas Prairie 10-week shoot. The club also sends members to regional and national competitions. Members enjoy local fun shoots such as the Troy Deary Turkey shoot and Colton Sausage Shoot, both in November.
University of Idaho students are welcome to participate, regardless of skill level. Team members are required to have their own shotgun (12-gauge preferred), which can be stored securely at the Office of Public Safety & Security by calling 208-882-COPS. Annual club dues are $100 per person and are gathered each September.
