Amber Gray

Assistant Director Employer Relations, Events and Operations

Amber joined the Career Services team in November 2021 and transitioned to her current role as Assistant Director for Employer Relations, Events and Operations in August 2022. She previously worked in the academic Department of Accounting at University of Idaho as a Graduate Advisor/Administrative Specialist for 25 years. Amber has a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University, and has experience in employer relations, academic and career advising and external stakeholder engagement. Amber is passionate about connecting students with employers as well as assisting students in finding a career path.

As part of the Career Services Employer Relations team, Amber manages Career Services’ signature events: Fall and Spring All Majors Career Fairs, Etiquette Dinner, Photos With Santa and an On-Campus Jobs Fair. Amber is proud to be a part of Career Services where “Your Future is Our Mission.”

In Amber’s spare time, she can be found traveling, barrel racing or spending quality time with family and friends. She is the Co-Director for the Northwest Barrel Horse Association, a large regional barrel racing organization with over 700 members from three different states.
