Dynamic transformation of the energy industry

The Summit is a three-day executive forum designed specifically for energy leaders to discuss current trends and issues the industry faces, hear from top industry leaders and expand networking opportunities.

A select group of C-suite panelists and key stakeholders representing diverse energy organizations will engage participants in dynamic discussion and debate about the transformational change taking place in today’s energy industry. Summit speakers are widely respected, influential energy industry and academic leaders — participants are experienced leaders with over 30 percent being officers and vice presidents and another 30 percent directors. Speakers and participants represent a wide range of professional domains across strategic business areas including technology, marketing and communications, finance, regulatory and public policy, human resources and engineering.

The unique learning environment covers broad topics and diverse perspectives, providing abundant opportunities to learn and network across the industry around key topics shaping energy company strategy.

Registration and fees

Dates and location

  • June 17–19, 2025, Coeur d’Alene Resort, Coeur d’Alene, ID
  • Sept. 16–18, 2025, Hotel Monaco, Washington, DC

Fee

$2,500 includes instruction, materials, continuing education units, meals and special events. Register early and receive a $100 discount.

  • Coeur d’Alene, ID, $2,400 before March 21
  • Washington, DC, $2,400 before June 27

Cancellations and substitutions

Please submit cancellations and requests for refunds by email to uieec@uidaho.edu. Requests made before the deadline will be processed less a $150 administrative fee.

  • Coeur d’Alene cancellation request deadline is May 2, 2025
  • Washington, DC cancellation request deadline is July 31, 2025

No refunds will be made for cancellations after these dates. Substitutions will be accepted until the first day of the program and processed for no additional fee.

Logistics and schedule

Coeur d’Alene Summit schedule

The first scheduled function is a Program Launch on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the Coeur d'Alene Events Center.

The final event is a dinner cruise on Lake Coeur d’Alene, Thursday, June 19, 2025. Summit attendees will join the EEC Class of 2025, as well as members of the Advisory Committee, faculty and staff. While enjoying a dinner buffet prepared by chefs at the Coeur d’Alene Resort, take in the beauty of one of the area’s most spectacular lakes.

The 2025 Summit Schedule will be posted in the spring.

Washington D.C. Summit schedule

The first Summit session is on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 8:30 a.m. ET.
 
The final session is on Thursday, Sept.18, concluding at 12:30 p.m. ET, lunch to follow.

Meals and lodging

Once you register, the EEC staff will send you a confirmation email with the link to reserve your room.

Please let us know if you have dietary needs or requests.

Dress

Dress throughout the Summit is business casual for both attendees and presenters.

The energy industry is changing dramatically and the Energy Executive Summit gives you a chance to learn what's happening across the country. When you leave the Summit, you have a better grasp of some of the challenges, the opportunities and the potential solutions that you can apply in your own company.
