Immigration Advising for International Students
Request Support from International Services
The International Services team is happy to assist you with your F-1 and J-1 student immigration questions. Many of your questions can be answered on our website and in iVandal, IPO's online services portal.
Appointment: If you have many questions that will take longer than 15 minutes to discuss, please schedule your appointment in advance using Vandal Star.
If you have a scheduled visit and will be significantly late, please cancel and reschedule in Vandal Star.
Walk-In Advising Hours: 2:30-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the International Programs Office (IPO)
No appointment is necessary during walk-in advising hours. Students will be served on a first-come, first-served basis for appointments lasting less than 15 minutes. Please check in at the front desk kiosk when you arrive at the IPO.
You may email any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response.
iVandal - Most requests can be submitted through the online iVandal portal. Login to iVandal, choose the appropriate request, and follow the instructions. Remember to click "submit". We will email your official student email when your request has been completed.
*Please allow up to 5 business days for your request to be processed. Do not email or call us to let us know that you have submitted an online request, this will only slow down our processing times.
For documents that cannot be submitted or received through iVandal, or for J-1 student requests that require original ink signatures, you may pick up forms in person or arrange to have them shipped to you (details below).
In Person - You may pick up forms in-person between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday
Shipping via EShip Global - You may have your document shipped to you based on your selected EShip Global shipping method selected in iVandal.
