Lawyers, policy analysts, public administrators, and other professionals who have a solid understanding of water science are an important part of the solution for today’s complicated water problems.
This program — the only program of its kind in the nation — provides students with the distinctive education and professional experiences to fulfill these roles. You will study both the legal and scientific sides of water issues and gain the specialized expertise to address complex water resources problems using interdisciplinary approaches.

Applicants for the master’s in water resources program must meet the following degree-specific admission requirements:
- Education level: Bachelor's
- GPA: 3.0
- GRE: No
- TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo: 79/6.5/115 (for applicants whose education was completed in countries where English is not an official language)
- Number of references: Three
- Other requirements: Statement of research interests
