Prepare to use science to better manage our world’s critical water resources with a degree in water science and management.
In this program, you’ll learn to use science to manage water resources across agricultural, domestic and wildland environments. You’ll build strong expertise in complex ecosystems — from farms and forests to rangelands — while strengthening your skills in math, hydrology and GIS-based mapping. Hands-on field research will help you apply classroom learning to real challenges like irrigation efficiency, precision agriculture and watershed health.
With this degree, you’ll be prepared to meet the growing demand for water professionals in the agricultural industry, research facilities and state and federal agencies, stepping into roles such as quantitative hydrologist, irrigation or watershed technician and other critical positions that support sustainable water management.
