Clubs and involvement opportunities
With Moscow and the surrounding Palouse as your campus, you’ll have access to outstanding sport and recreation opportunities through Vandal Athletics, student clubs, intramural and club sports or the abundant outdoor resources for hiking, skiing, rafting and more.
Internships and practicum:
As part of the recreation, sport, and tourism management program, you’ll complete both a practicum and an internship.
- The practicum gives you early hands-on exposure, assisting and observing professionals in sport, recreation and community organizations.
- The internship is an immersive, career-focused experience where you apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings such as collegiate athletics, municipal recreation, professional sport, outdoor leadership or nonprofit organizations.
These experiences ensure you graduate with a strong professional network and the skills employers value most.
Application information
Undergraduate applications open each September and admissions are processed on a rolling basis. Qualified students are admitted and considered for scholarships and financial aid as applications are received.
