New apartment housing is under construction at South Hill on the University of Idaho campus in Moscow, and is scheduled to open in August 2026. South Hill will offer modern, sustainable housing for graduate students, married couples and families at the University of Idaho. The development includes 451 total beds — 232 for graduate students and 219 for married and parenting students — to meet a range of housing needs. A commons community center will provide shared spaces for studying, collaboration and social engagement.

This five-course graduate certificate is designed for working professionals and can also be applied to a Master’s or a Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in leadership and organizational development.   • GPA: 3.0  
  • GRE: No  
  • TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo: 79/6.5/115 (for applicants whose education was completed in countries where English is not an official language)
  • Number of references: No references required  
  • Other requirements: No

Program availability

  • Semester intake: Summer, Fall, Spring  
    • Not eligible for international students who require F-1 or J-1 visa status  
  • Deadlines: General application deadlines

Tuition and fees

Students pursuing a graduate certificate as a standalone program are not eligible for financial aid. However, students enrolled in a separate U of I graduate degree program may apply their financial aid or graduate funding toward a graduate certificate if they are pursuing both simultaneously.
