We've got WUE for you! The value of the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) at U of I for the 2023-24 academic year is nearly $16,000. That’s approximately $64,000 in value over the course of four years!
The University of Idaho offers the WUE scholarship program to qualifying students from all WUE states, regardless of GPA. Participating WUE states are:
Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, the territory of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

There’s no separate application or deadline for the WUE scholarship program. Simply complete your U of I admission application to be considered. It’s that easy! If you have already applied and been admitted to U of I, you have already been automatically considered for the WUE scholarship program.

New WUE Scholars
University of Idaho is announcing WUE Scholars! With this new program, qualified first-time Freshmen applicants may be eligible for up to an additional $2,000 scholarship per year.
That's an additional $2,000 on top of U of I's existing WUE savings of nearly $16,000 per year!
